Looking through the looking glass - Joshua Strebel

saint-rebel.com | Nov. 18, 2015 | 5 min read

We all can't drink from the rocket fuel hose and manifest $1B valuations, nor should we strive for that. After writing this a friend pointed me to http://www.inc.com/magazine/201510/bo-burlingham/built-to-last-and-last.html which is great argument for the evergreen business. Just do what makes you happy, either way.

Kind of amazes me that you run a very lean, frugal operation and it is you that actually submit posts here.

Question after reading this, you do see an exit one day and that is the day when your business wears the right lens?

Thanks Vlad,

If the day comes we want an exit, then I think it only wise to position the co. to be seen in a favorable light when looking through the right lens (assuming that is the type of buyer). Maximizing return on a exit may mean optimizing the co. a little differently to elevate some aspects and reduce others.
