How to add a link to copied text in WordPress

wploop.com | Jul. 31, 2016 | 10 min read

Since it's practically impossible to stop people from stealing your content, the least you can do is to add a text which will appear each and every time after they copy your text.

I've noticed that a number of sites do this, and it seems to be a good thing to know how to do. I wasn't sure what the article would be about, though, given the title. I initially wondered whether it might refer to text copied INTO your site. (It would be kind of nice to have automatic attribution for quotes, but that's clearly a different and much harder problem.) I suspect the post would get more readership with a more specific headline, something along the lines of "How to make text copied from your site link back to the original post."

Thanks for your comment, Sallie. You're right about the title, I'll have to rewrite the headline!
