Smaller release than i think was expected, but includes improved visual editor experience, WordPress event locator, and a few other shiny things.

Says: "a new TinyMCE that allows you to navigate more intuitively in and out of inline elements like links. (Try it out to see, it’s hard to describe.)"

I don't see anything different when adding or editing links, but I'm sure I am completely misunderstanding what's being said there. If it's hard to describe, would be nice if they'd added a little 10-second video or gif to show what they are talking about.

Glad to finally see image widget, etc, but it makes no sense to me that the text widget doesn't just use the full visual editor, with the Add Media button like some of the enhanced text widget plugins do. Strange decision, I think. But the additions of media widgets is better than nothing, and long overdue. LONG overdue.

Would prefer to make these comments on the actual post, but that's not possible.

How peculiar. Do they turn off comments on all the release postings?

I don't know if they do or not.
