WordCamp Miami 2015: New Tracks

miami.wordcamp.org | Apr. 27, 2015 | 6 min read

WordCamp Miami's "How To" Track requires presenters to do three things: 1) Slides must be self-explanatory (no stock photos with bare titles) 2) Presentations must have accompanying "White Paper", e.g. PDFs 3) Presenters must go directly thereafter to the Happiness Bar to do hands-on QA. It does require more from the presenters in terms of prep, but I think the sum result could be a very much more end-user oriented track which leaves users with MUCH more tools in their tool-belt than a standard presentation. Seriously, well done David Bennett and the whole WCMIA team.
