Some thoughts from an attendee at the recent London WordCamp.
600 attendees. 48 speeches. 2 days in total. The London WordCamp has officially finished. The event was fantastic and we could only wish to clone ourselves like Agent Smith from The Matrix movie to just listen to all of brave speakers. Although, this was just a wish, we attended as many talks as a physical individual could and we thought them outstanding!
A few thoughts we wanted to share with you…
We has a pleasure to attend many networking events in UK, but London WordCamp’s community has blown us away. Literally.
It was such a heart-warming experience to observe all developers, entrepreneurs and speakers to finally find a common language and exchange views around each corner of the London Met University.
Hundreds of business cards exchanged, tens of topics discussed and unweighable knowledge shared is what you call a successful gathering!
If we were a part of the jury, we wouldn't be much of help. We would grade all speeches 10 out of 10, because they were well-prepared and well-presented.
However, there is one takeaway we appreciate the most. We learnt that the true power lies in sharing the knowledge with other people.
